Hawai`i’s coral reefs need your help. Divers and snorkelers know how important coral reefs are—they spend lots of money to experience the underwater world, creating jobs and sales for Hawai`i. But how much of an economic impact do reefs really have, and why should we care? NOAA is conducting this survey to determine the economic impacts of Hawai`i’s coral reefs. Information from this survey can help decision makers prioritize coral reef management and research.
This survey will ask about your experiences (snorkeling, diving, or spearfishing) and your opinions on Hawai`i’s coral reefs. By taking just a few minutes to complete the survey, you will help protect and sustainably manage coral reefs.
